(Boonton, NJ, May 15, 2013) — Youve got to know the numbers. Thats the advice from Tom Kunz senior vice president of market development for Engel & Völkers.
In a wide-ranging interview in Real Estate Broker's Insider, Kunz provides advice for todays real estate professionals. Its all about the numbers and the relationships, he says.
Both brokers and agents dont know their numbers. They dont know the numbers about the marketplace. They dont know their own offices numbers. They dont know their competitors numbers. Youve got to know the numbers, and he continues, youve got to get focused on the consumer. Too many agents forget about the consumer after the sale is over. If you keep in touch, a lot of your prospecting work is done for you.
