Building Better Websites for Real Estate Agencies

(Boonton, NJ, February 17, 2009) — Want to make Marc Davison grumpy? Ask him to look at the websites of the nation's 500 largest brokerages. Then ask him to dole out praise.

Davison, co-founder of 1000watt Consulting, is mostly disappointed by the quality of the sites operated by big brokers.

When he started to study the sites of the 500 largest brokers, Davison expected to crown the top 50 sites. But, in an article in the February 15 issue of industry newsletter Real Estate Broker's Insider he notes that he found only nine sites that he thought deserved to be singled out for excellence.

The praiseworthy sites included those run by Russ Lyon Sotheby's International Realty of Scottsdale, AZ, and Briggs Freeman Real Estate Brokerage of Dallas.
